The Market Square is a central square in Helsinki, Finland, bordering the Baltic Sea. From spring to autumn, the Market Square is active with vendors selling fresh Finnish food and souvenirs. There are also many outdoor cafés at the square. Some cafés also provide meat pastries (Finnish: lihapiirakka). The height of the square's popularity[citation needed] is in early October, when the annual Helsinki herring market (silakkamarkkinat) begins. A long tradition at the Market Square is a display of old American cars on the first Friday of every month. Any motorist with an interest in old American cars may participate in the display.

The mission of Museum Kampa is to take care of a collection of art works by modern artists and to provide testimony of the difficult time in which this art was created and which should not be forgotten. The Museum also hosts a number of short-term exhibitions presenting Central European modern artists. Over the years the Museum has held exhibitions featuring artists such as Kamil Lhotak, Karel Malich, Toyen and Andy Warhol. Each show is accompanied by programs for schools and the general public. With a tradition of about 7 centuries, Noh is a classic form of Japanese professional theater for the so-called, complete actor, as it combines singing, pantomime, music and poetry. Hence the origin of the word Noh, which means talent or skill. From other forms of representation - aristocratic and poplar - Dengaku, Shirabyoshi and Gagaku. The mask has an important role in the representation. The theater was opened in 1983 and the building is by the architect Hiroshi Ōe. At about 450 meters from the Plaza de Armas and to the south of it, is the Municipal Theater of Santiago, a building of neoclassical architecture, designed by the French architect Claude François Brunet de Baines (1799-1855), who arrived at the Chile in 1848 and was responsible for the design and architecture of several public and private buildings, with the Municipal de Santiago being his most significant work. Nowadays, the programming at this cultural space is of the highest quality.
