You won't waste your time if you take the A2 motorway to the south by car. Exit at exit 8 and follow the national road N5, N253 and EM1071 towards Alcáçovas. Once there, head to R. do Paço 22, where you will find two elements of rare beauty for your eyes and ears: The Paço dos Henriques, Lord of Alcáçovas, which, in modern facilities, houses the permanent exhibition of the rattle art, world heritage of humanity, including a rattle xylophone. Follow Avenida da Boavista towards Nevogilde, passing through Parque da Cidade, turn right, and always continue along the waterfront to the Cruise Terminal. Located on the Atlantic façade, the new cruise terminal at the port of Leixões is perfect for connecting with the Mediterranean and Northern Europe circuits and, with the growing tendency for short circuits, making it an ideal destination when connected to other Portuguese ports, ports on the Iberian Peninsula, or other ports in the Atlantic Area. The project was designed by the architect Luís Pedro Silva. It is a spiral that receives tourists in Matosinhos.
