At about 450 meters from the Plaza de Armas and to the south of it, is the Municipal Theater of Santiago, a building of neoclassical architecture, designed by the French architect Claude François Brunet de Baines (1799-1855), who arrived at the Chile in 1848 and was responsible for the design and architecture of several public and private buildings, with the Municipal de Santiago being his most significant work. Nowadays, the programming at this cultural space is of the highest quality. The Municipal de Santiago has the resident artistic bodies of Ballet, Philharmonic Orchestra, Choir and Chamber Orchestra, which allows the production of a wide range of works. On February 9, 1851, the second train line in Spain (which connected Madrid to Aranjuez) was inaugurated and with it the first train station in our city, Atocha, appeared at the time, a simple wooden pier. The station was subsequently expanded in 1865 and 1892. Its most characteristic element belongs to this last year: the roof of the main nave, which, designed by the engineer Saint-James, measures 152 meters wide, 48 span and 27 height , and is one of the most distinctive features of the city. After the renovation carried out by Rafael Moneo between 1984 and 1992, the Atocha Station is currently a complex formed by two stations: the old and the new. The new is intended for rail traffic - AVE terminal, long-distance and suburban lines - the old is used for RENFE offices and for a commercial and leisure complex, where a tropical garden with more than 7,000 plants of 400 was installed species. Two very interesting tourist trains depart from Atocha: the Tren de la Fresa, which goes to Aranjuez and recreates the first train leaving Atocha - composed of a historic steam locomotive from the mid-20th century, two wagons from the 1960s and four carriages built between 1914 and 1930 - and the Cervantes Train, which makes it possible to discover Alcalá de Henares, the birthplace of the author of Don Quixote

Upon reaching the church of San Francisco de Assis you will find access to Charles Bridge, the oldest bridge in Prague. It crosses the Moldava river from the Old Town to the Little Town. It is the second oldest bridge in the Czech Republic. Its construction began in 1357, at the request of King Charles IV, and was completed at the beginning of the 15th century. The entrance tower to the Old City bears some similarities to the Powder Tower.
