Porgy & Bess is a non-profit organization. The alignment of its schedule is multifaceted. Place of musical encounter, interaction and confrontation for both artists and the public. The main focus is on implementing a structure that takes into account the wide range of ways in the Austrian (jazz) scene to articulate, as well as new development perspectives, such as collaborations with international musicians. In addition, a club that serves as a meeting point for a local creative scene offers the possibility of exchanging experiences while transcending stylistic and aesthetic boundaries - a testing ground for different projects that do not need to present a "definitive statement", a place of constant work and development. Pablo Neruda [1914-1973] was born Neftali Ricardo Reyes Basoalto, but adopted his pen name legally in 1946, He began building the Isla Negra house in 1953, for Matilde Urrutia, who would become his wife after the poet divorced Delia del Carrilera. A few kilometers further, take the G-996 road, and then follow the G-986, further ahead turn into Santa Julia Street until you reach Pablo Neruda Street. You have arrived at your destination.
