Piazza Colonna is in the historic center of Rome, about a 20-minute walk from the Colosseum. Piazza Colonna is a reference to Marco Aurélio's Column, which has been in place since 193, and the bronze statue of São Paulo, at the top of the column, was placed in 1589 by order of Pope Sixus V. The Way Lata (now Via del Corso) crosses the east end of the square in a north-south direction. It is a square surmounted to the north by Palazzo Chigi, the former embassy of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. To the south we have the side façade of Palazzo Ferraioli, former building of the Papal Post Office, and the small church Santi Bartolomeo and Alessandro dei Bergamaschi (1731–5). To the west is Palazzo Wedekind (1838). The writer James Joyce also walked this square when he worked for the Austrian bank Nast-Kolb Schumacher, which, at the beginning of the 20th century, had its headquarters in this square.

Follow Avenida da Boavista towards Nevogilde, passing through Parque da Cidade, turn right, and always continue along the waterfront to the Cruise Terminal. Located on the Atlantic façade, the new cruise terminal at the port of Leixões is perfect for connecting with the Mediterranean and Northern Europe circuits and, with the growing tendency for short circuits, making it an ideal destination when connected to other Portuguese ports, ports on the Iberian Peninsula, or other ports in the Atlantic Area. The project was designed by the architect Luís Pedro Silva. It is a spiral that receives tourists in Matosinhos. The arms result from the flow of passenger movement, from the place that was already curvilinear and then it is a whole movement that converges to a place that causes that interior vortex.

Jardim das Amoreiras, formally named Jardim Marcelino Mesquita, has an area of six thousand square meters, being partially delimited by the Águas Livres Aqueduct and located on Mãe d'Água, historical water supply site to the city of Lisbon and current Water Museum. It's a delightful place. In one of its boundaries, visitors can find the Árpád Szenes-Vieira da Silva Foundation, installed in the old silk factory, the chapel of Nossa Senhora de Monserrate and several 18th century houses, originally built to house the workers of the silk factory. The chapel of Nossa Senhora de Monserrate is located next to the fifth arch of the aqueduct and was built by order of the Brotherhood of Silk Manufacturers, during the 18th century. In the center of the garden is a circular fountain, which is flanked by stone benches.

Its length is 77 km and its width varies from 4 to 14 km. The lake's surface is located 104 m above sea level, and its depth reaches 11 m. Take the train in Budapest, Budapest-Keleti station.
