You have arrived at your destination. The main beach at Ocean Grove forms part of a 10 kilometer stretch of sand from “The Rip” at Point Lonsdale to the mouth of the Barwon River at Barwon Heads. It is a relatively safe beach due to its gently sloping sandy bottom, producing an evenly graded surf break. It´s a family beach, available for surfers to, although the best surf breaks at nearby 13th Beach generally attract more experienced surfers.

The designation of Teatro Carlos Alberto, former National Auditorium Carlos Alberto, intends to evoke the king of Sardinia, who died in exile in Porto in 1849, and who had been welcomed in the Palace of Barão do Valado, in whose garden the theater was built by initiative scored by Manuel da Silva Neves.
