The Kadoorie Synagogue, aka Kadoorie - Mekor Haim Synagogue, is the synagogue and headquarters of the Jewish community of Porto, whose official name is the Israeli Community of Porto. Its construction started in 1929, having been inaugurated in 193. The Community has solutions of kashrut, mikvé, a synagogue and the Jewish Museum of Porto, one of the few Jewish museums in Europe that is administered by a Jewish community. CHOCOLATE WITH CHURROS SINCE 1894. The San Ginés Chocolate Shop located halfway between Puerta del Sol and the Teatro Real, in the heart of Madrid, is one of the oldest chocolate shops in the capital. Founded in 1894, it was known during the Second Republic as "the hidden one" because of its particular location in the passageway of San Ginés, an alley away from all the hustle and bustle. Despite being out of sight of passers-by, the chocolate shop gained unprecedented fame. Despite the fact that today it appears in all the tourist guides of the city, at the time it was an establishment that frequented Bohemia and the scholars of literature and the arts. At the intersection of Collins and Swanston streets, right in the center of Melbourne, you will find the Manchester Unity Building, created by the architect Marcus Barlow. Inaugurated in 1932, it was an architectural landmark, as well as an innovation in terms of the materials applied and, at the same time, it integrated new technologies, providing comfort and distinction to residents, as well as visitors, including the commercial spaces, offices and restaurants, whose activities remains. The museum island has more than half a dozen museums with different types of collections and themes. It is located in the center of Berlin's oldest district, Mitte, between the River Spree and the SpreeKanal. Take the metro line U6 or U8 (see the App under Useful Information) and find, at the north top of the island, the magnificently designed Bode-Museum is home to two collections: the Sculpture Collection and Museum of Byzantine Art and the Münzkabinett. In addition, the museum also contains paintings from the Gemäldegalerie, which are presented alongside the European sculpture to form a dialogue between the two art forms. Closed on Mondays. In Vienna, the Donau-Auen National Park, about 30 km from the city center, offers you the experience of contact with the second largest river in Europe: The Danube River. There are 36 km of free-flowing river, reaching average widths of 350 m, and water level fluctuations of up to 7 m. In the park you can enjoy guided tours on river walks that allow you to admire willows, black poplars and alders, species of soft wood, characteristic of the riverside forest located on the banks, flooded several times a year due to its proximity to the Danube. To reach the Viennese section of the Donau-Auen National Park, take one of the Wiener Linien local buses: 92B, on the route U2/Donaustadtbrücke; or the 93A of U1/Kagran. The Danube played a vital role in the colonization and political evolution of Central and Southeast Europe. The banks of the river are lined with castles and fortresses, drawing ancient borders between great empires, with the river serving as a commercial link between people. The famous waltz An der schönen, blauen Donau (1867; The Blue Danube), by Johann Strauss, has become a symbol of imperial Vienna and celebrates the majesty of the river. Appreciate nature, like Charles Darwin who, in August 1834, climbed the mountains north of the Park and portrays his adventure in his book Voyage of the Beagle? Well, about 108km away north of Santiago, about an hour and a half by car, there are 8000 hectares to enjoy, in this mountainous area of the Coastal Range, in the Valeparaíso region. The park was declared by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve, representing the fauna and flora of this central region of South America, To have a great day, contact the park first, plan your trip and purchase your ticket in advance. Don't venture out without contacting the park and getting a guide. The park is closed on Mondays. To get an idea of the route, let's take the Plaza de Armas, in the center of Santiago, as a reference. Drive along Avenida Catedral and turn right north onto Av. Manuel Rodriguez. Take the leftmost road until you enter Highway 5, the main road in Chile that connects the country from North to South, over a length of more than 3,000km. Drive North towards Ocoa. At kilometer 97.2, exit Autopista 5 and take F-300, and at kilometer 101 turn left onto F-304, which will take you to the park. Enjoy.

The great Synagogue in Budapest is a religious building, built in the 19th century. XIX, in the second half of the 50s. It is the largest in Europe in its style and its monumentality allows it to welcome around 3 thousand people inside. Designed by architects Lajos Förster and Frigyes Feszl, it is presented in a romantic style, combining Neo-Moorish and Neo-Byzantine elements. The synagogue is composed of nine vaulted naves decorated with colored bricks, tiles and arabesques, two shiny towers, with black and gold domes, which make it a unique building in its style. All towers incorporate four nineteenth-century clocks. The interior reigns in a style that anticipates art deco mixed with a neo-baroque style. It dazzles. Religious services begin at 07:30am. Park Edward VII, of The United Kingdom, is the largest park in the center of Lisbon. Inaugurated in 1903, in honor of Edward VII, who had visited Lisbon the previous year to reaffirm the alliance between the two countries. Until then, it was called Parque da Liberdade (Freedom Park). The park spans about twenty-five hectares. Edward VII Park was built in the first half of the 20th century to give back to Lisbon what the social walk had given until the middle of the XIX century in terms of the enjoyment of public areas - which had been destroyed following the opening of Avenida da Liberdade, in 1882. The open land belonging to a quarry and was intended for the “green” extension of Liberty avenue. The current configuration of the park was designed by the architect Francisco Keil do Amaral (1942). The central strip, covered with grass, is flanked by long sidewalks of Portuguese pavement, dividing the park into two green, wooded areas. In the northwest corner of the park, on the site of an old basalt quarry, is the Cold Greenhouse, with a diversity of exotic plants, streams, waterfalls, palm trees and trails, fuchsia, flowering bushes and banana trees and the Hot Greenhouse with plants lush, lakes and cacti as well as tropical birds. Near the greenhouses is a lake with large carp and a park for children to play, in the shape of a galleon. On the east side is the current Carlos Lopes Pavilion, a Portuguese structure used in the International Exhibition in Rio de Janeiro, 1922, and renamed in honor of the winner of the 1984 Olympic marathon.

Helsinki Vocational College offers four workshops for young people to try out various jobs: a Media Immersion Workshop, a Metal Workshop, Blue Workshop and WooDoo Workshop. Each workshop admits 34 young people at a time. The workshops are intended primarily for unemployed 15- to 19-year-olds. The workshops, provided by City of Helsinki, can admit young people under 25 if space allows. Workshop attendants receive the labour market subsidy for the duration of their workshop attendance. The workshops allow attendants to work on exercises and outside orders as well as to improve their vocational skills. The work experience improves their opportunities to be accepted to formal studies. The workshops last an average 5 months. Application to workshops is made through the Future Desk, TE offices (public employment and business offices) or educational institutions. All workshops accept applications at all times.
