The mission of Museum Kampa is to take care of a collection of art works by modern artists and to provide testimony of the difficult time in which this art was created and which should not be forgotten. The Museum also hosts a number of short-term exhibitions presenting Central European modern artists. Over the years the Museum has held exhibitions featuring artists such as Kamil Lhotak, Karel Malich, Toyen and Andy Warhol. Each show is accompanied by programs for schools and the general public. "Restless" was the theme chosen for the first European edition of Semi Permanent, festival. Created 18 years ago in Australia, the Semi Permanent festival arrives in Europe for the first time in 2020 and Porto was the city chosen to host the event, which included a retrospective exhibition of Radiohead's work. In Murray Bell's opinion, the city "has a perfect balance between its rich architecture and the free way in which artists express themselves, which means that Porto is becoming one of the true design centers in the world". You won't waste your time if you take the A2 motorway to the south by car. Exit at exit 8 and follow the national road N5, N253 and EM1071 towards Alcáçovas. There are about 130 km of good road that can be covered in about an hour and 15 minutes. Once there, head to R. do Paço 22, where you will find two elements of rare beauty for your eyes and ears: The Paço dos Henriques, Lord of Alcáçovas, which, in modern facilities, houses the permanent exhibition of the rattle art, world heritage of humanity, including a rattle xylophone. Adjacent to this exhibition is the Jardim das Conchas which, with its Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, is a unique example that brings together interculturality and the beauty of the landscape, which invites introspection. The Chilean rodeo - El rodeo - was declared Chile's national sport in 1962. El Rodeo is an equestrian sport originating in Chile and whose popularity comes from the fact that it is practiced in a pair of riders and in a circular, arena-type environment. It is a competition in which a pair of riders, Huasos, dressed in traditional clothing and mounted on Chilean horses, seek to dominate a bovine, having three consecutive opportunities to do so, which constitute the main differences from other rodeo sports. It should be noted that the origins of the Chilean horse date back to 1540, with there being a national federation of breeders of Chilean horses, as well as a federation for the sport of rodeo. There is even a university championship. One of the main places where you can enjoy this sport is located about 85 km from Santiago de Chile, to the south. Take Carretera Panamericana Sur, 5, Highway 5, South, and then Av. Kennedy and Av. España. You will arrive at Medialuna de Rancagua. Check prices.
